Deficiency Reports

Deficiency reports may be sent any time between grading periods to parents of students who need some type of special attention via email when available. These reports do not necessarily mean that a student is failing, but a deficiency is noted which needs immediate attention and/or correction. Acknowledgment of this report by a note, phone call, or visit with the teacher is appreciated.
A deficiency list will be published at mid-term and at the end of each quarter. Eligibility for extracurricular activities may be restricted for students on the deficiency list. Students will still be expected to attend all practices. A late work list will be published weekly to keep students and teachers abreast of student progress.
If a student is on the “Deficiency List”, the student will not have library (unless the student needs research material) or student lounge privileges until the instructor notifies the office that the student is no longer deficient in class work.
